Hellbilly Deluxe

Rob Zombie

1998

Enhances the cheesiness and tackiness of Astrocreep, but ends up sounding better.  It's a heavier record, which makes it more immediate and engaging.  Some songs are pretty infectious.  It's awfully campy, kind of in an embarrassing way, but I have to admit I prefer it to Astrocreep...but not La Sexcercisto.  Anyway, stopped listening to Mr. Zombie after this one...the cheesiness/tackiness became a bit too overbearing.
