Bricks Are Heavy

L7

1992

Being a big fan of metallic groove and rhythm that I am, it's hard for me not to be a fan of L7, especially considering their alternative/grunge tendencies.  This album also has a trashy sense of humor about it that is distinctly of the era and is somewhat unique to their style.  Overall this is really good stuff, nothing great, but a fun and satisfying record from start to finish.  Chicks that can lay down some nice riffs and killer grooves...gotta love that.  Crack open a 6-pack of shitty beer and party in the trailor to this one.
