Texacaliago Tuesday - Album of the Week - 2Pac - All Eyez On Me

Tupac would have been 46 years old later this week had he not been tragically gunned down way back in 1996 at the all too early age of 25. Tupac lived an uncompromising lifestyle, giving zero fucks, and blazed his own legendary trail through music history along the way.  In spite of his flaws and contradictions, to this day I'm still impressed by his charisma, his passion, his honesty, and his intellect that often shined through in his music.  With Pac's induction early this year to the Rock N'Roll Hall of Fame, a new critically acclaimed movie about his life hitting the big screen later this week, his upcoming birthday, the fact that it's summertime, and the fact that All Eyez On Me is my personal favorite rap album of all-time, it seems like the easy choice for Album of the Week.

Texacaliago Tuesday - Album of the Week - Faith No More - Angel Dust

This maniacally brilliant album was released this week 25 years ago, so seems like the clear choice for album of the week considering it's also one of my favorite albums of all-time.

Sometimes (but admittedly not often enough) I hit the nail right on the head with my reviews, so click the album cover link for the full review of the album.

Cheers to Faith No More's glory days:
